We collect only what we need to file your company's CT600 with HMRC. We don't sell your data, share it for marketing or use it for advertising profiles.
What we collect and why
- Company details: company number, name and registered office (from Companies House), the company's UTR and accounting period. These go into the tax return.
- Your name and position: HMRC requires the person making the declaration to be named on the return.
- Your email address: to send your receipt, filing updates and a link to your filing.
- Your answers to the dormancy questions: to check the company qualifies.
- Technical data: like your IP address, to keep the site secure.
We use this only to provide the service you've asked for and keep it secure.
Government Gateway login
Your Government Gateway user ID and password are sent straight to HMRC to submit the return. They are never stored, logged or emailed.
Payments
We never see or store your card details.
Who else handles it
- HMRC: receives the return.
- Companies House: we look up your company number.
- Our UK hosting provider: stores the data.
How long we keep it
Your name, position and email address are deleted 15 months after your filing is finished. We keep the filing record (company, period, reference and HMRC receipt) for 6 years so we can show what was filed. Backups are kept for 30 days.
